About Little Kitchen

Little Kitchen is above all, a neighborhood spot. Eclectic and cozy with a fresh, innovative menu that keeps you coming back.

Little Kitchen began when Bob Stout, owner of Wildcat and Bobcat Room, saw the opportunity to create a friendly cafe with craveable options for downtown businesses, neighborhoods, and the late night crowd. Bob proposed the idea to Grace Austin, who had a culinary background and aspirations to open a restaurant. She became both Chef and General Manager, leading Little Kitchen.

Next on board were Michele Prestage & Chris Weddle. Michele was already a part of the Ortega Block, owner of Couch Santa Barbara. Michele's roles mostly involve design and a variety of graphics and media tasks. Chris Weddle brings a wealth of insight and creative ideas to the team.  He wanted to create a space with a cozy neighborhood vibe where friends could hang out, feel relaxed and welcomed.

We are excited to announce that Little Kitchen recently collaborated with Denisse Salinas of Le Petit Chef SB. Denisse and Grace worked together to create some magical new dishes, inspiring our RELAUNCH, May 17th 2018.

“This little place is one of my "go to" locations. It's healthy, it's not healthy, it's cute, it's artistic, it perfectly located, it has a great atmosphere for me to bring a friend, family member, or have a business lunch date..”

“Little Kitchen certainly gives fresh meaning to the phrase - small is beautiful .”
